Christmas '08- Last Christmas with Grandma Merrill
My Grandma (dad's mom) passed away a few days ago. It was very sudden, and we are all in shock, but luckily we were able to spend Christmas Eve with them at my parents house and have a good time together before she was gone.

What a hard thing, especially when it's all of the sudden. You have wonderful pictures and memories to share with your kids, and that is always such a special thing. What a sweet Grandma.
That is so hard. It's fun that you have so many pictures of your grandparents with your kids. They'll appreciate that. You know what? She's a pretty grandma! I want to look that pretty when I'm a grandma too.
I'm so sorry honey! I still burst into tears every once in awhile when I think of my grandparents...I've lost them all. It's okay to have a good cry. It's healthy to remember the good times, cry it out, and then as the tears dry give thanks for the knowledge of the gospel and the knowledge that families are forever.

I'm sorry for you loss. It's so nice that we can take comfort in the teachings of the gospel. Remeber to take your time grieving.
